How to use Omeka

This Omeka site functions as a collaborative space for local projects.

Omeka is an academic content management system that works using a herarchy of things.

First upload an item (your stuff which can be audio, video, text etc.). Enter at least 5 items of metadata (title, dates, person who made item originally, where users can find it etc.).

Then create an exhibit. An exhibit is your research area. You can reorganize your items however you would like to display them. Enter the item once and reuse is as often as you want.

Multiple researchers are using this site. Please keep your work to one unfied exhibit with multiple pages.
